To ensure a conducive and equitable environment, the library enforces the following rules:

Access: Only registered students, faculty, and staff with valid library cards may access library services.

Silence: Strict silence must be maintained to respect all users.

Borrowing Limits:
- Students: Up to 2 books for 15 days.
- Faculty: Up to 5 books for 30 days.
- Non-Teaching Staff: Up to 2 books for 15 days.

Return Policy: Books must be returned on or before the due date. A fine of ₹1 per day per book is levied for late returns.

Care of Materials: Users must not write in, deface, or damage library books. Damaged or lost books must be replaced or compensated at the current market price plus a ₹50 processing fee.

Prohibited Activities: Eating, drinking, smoking, and using mobile phones are strictly prohibited inside the library.

Personal Belongings: Bags and personal books are not allowed inside; use the designated bag racks at the entrance.

Library Card: A non-transferable library card is issued upon enrollment. Loss of the card must be reported immediately, with a ₹50 fee for a replacement.
