The Department of Sanskrit

The Department of Sanskrit was established in the year 2007 with B.A. General and 2008 with B.A. Honours with the permission of Vidyasagar University to promote the study of Sanskrit language and literature among the rural students of this region. Over the years, it has been trying hard for teaching the Sanskrit Literature and the Language among students of the region.

Highlights

The department has good collection of books in the Central Library.
There is a Video Archive of movies, documentaries and music collections.
The department organizes seminars, workshops etc.
