The Department of English

The Department of English was established in the year 2007 with B.A. General in English and in 2008 with B.A. Honours in English with the mission to promote the study of English language and literature among the rural students of this region. Over the years it has been trying hard for teaching the English Literature and the Language among students of the region.

Highlights

The department avails ICT facility and the teachers make use of the latest technology for teaching literature and language.
The department has good collection of books in the Central Library.
There is a small Video Archive of movies, documentaries and music collections
The department organizes seminars on a regular basis.
